GRIMM FILMING CHRISTMAS OLD CHURCH
The Grimm production people spent two days decorating The Old Church before the filming began. I learned that inside they also decorated a big room to look like a craft bazaar. I did get pics of it but wont spoil the surprise. Just will say think over the top Christmas Decorations. There was also another surprise at the end of the filming that will be fun to watch unfold on TV.
They first started by bringing in a water truck to spray water along the street. The days before the filming they positioned two of these super big lights on cranes that lifted up above the other buildings and were directed on the church. They were actually a block away and were very bright. Several people living in the adjacent buildings came out on the street that night to see what was happening and watch the filming. The lights lit up the church and it was beautiful to see. They put the lights on inside the church when they started to film and it lit up the stained glass windows. The four members of the cast were once again present for this filming. I only managed to get them on video so you have to look quick to catch them all. Grimm and Christmas and Fruitcake all rolled into one.
There is more of my photos on facebook twilightgirlportland.
