The beach. All the beach scenes from the first movie were filmed here in Oregon. Beautiful Ecola State Park was used for the beach scenes. Indian Beach is a gorgeous sandy stretch of waves, surfers, wind and rain. The day they filmed on the beach was a storm filled day. Lots of rain and wind all day. The actors used a van for the scene that was borrowed from a friendly surfer. It’s all about La Push.
