TWILIGHT FILMING LOCATION Edwards Night Jeep Ride
The scene where Edward and Bella quickly leave the Baseball Field was shot here at The Shire. They exit out the back right hand corner of the field and take off through the forest. The road that they actually used for this scene is a short section of roadway that heads off of the main road into The Shire. It’s located just off to the left as you enter from the Hwy. On my first few visits to The Shire I was not able to walk very far down the path/roadway. When I just visited recently we were able to walk down to the end of the roadway. There at the end was a open area perfect for turning around a jeep while filming. Its a short path/roadway but would have been great for the that quick jeep ride getaway.
