Bowling with Bewley and Twilight Cast
This is what my friend Cherish shared with me last summer: The importance of getting this movie made and the three guys who were doing it. I soon made the contribution and was really excited about the movement to get the movie made. The fundraising took many twists and turns, but in the end they ended up with enough funds to meet their Indiegogo goal. The Bowling event was the first of their fundraising events to be fulfilled.

We all gathered in Los Angeles for the Bowling Party on February 2, 2014. Super Bowl Sunday. They arranged for the bowling party to be held at Lucky Strike in Hollywood. The three guys from Thunder Road: Charlie Bewley, Steven Grayhm and Matt Dallas put it together. Charlie had invited several other Twilight cast members in hopes that the Twilight fans would contribute and attend. He was right. There were also several fans of Matt and Steven’s there as well.
The actors from Twilight included:
Gil Birmingham “Billy Black”
Alex Meraz “Paul”
Charlie Bewley “Demetri”
Patrick Brennan “Liam” of the Irish Coven
Erik Odom “Peter”
Billy Tangradi “Randall”
Justine Wachsberger “Gianna”
We had the opportunity to invite Jack Morrissey to join in and we were really happy he was able to stop by. He is good friends with Erik Odom, partner to BD Director Bill Condon, and well known to many Twilight fans as #1 supporter of the Twilight fandom.
It was such a fun afternoon. Charlie divided all the players into four teams: Team Volturi, Team Irish, Team Nomad, and Team Wolf Pack. Team Irish (led by Patrick Brennan) won. Team Volturi (led by Charlie) lost. They had to do push ups! The Thunder Road guys provided food and drinks and it was a great time to visit with some of the cast. I did meet them all and did some photos, but most of my time I spent talking with Jack Morrissey. After learning more about him last summer, and then friending him on facebook, I was excited to meet him and hear more about the making of the Breaking Dawn 1 & 2 movies. He is also involved with several projects in Hollywood.
After the bowling was over we moved to another party room to watch the Superbowl game. Most of the Twilight cast was leaving by then, but the rest of us fans had a fun time for the afternoon. Here is a few pictures from the day. Thanks to Cherish for helping to get the event together and including me on it. She also did a lot of photography for the afternoon. There were a lot of “red eyes” in the room.
